Vietnam Electricity or EVN is the largest power company in Vietnam having an installed electricity generation capacity of 23,579 MW and a transmission network of 21,883 km. Mun Hean is pleased to be invited by EVN to conduct a Power Management seminar at EVN, Power Company of Da Nang.

The full day and event-packed seminar was held at PC Da Nang’s premises and was attended by the company’s power distribution department representatives. Heading the team, was Mr. Vo Hoa, Deputy Director of PC Da Nang. Also in attendance was Dr. Nguyen Kim Anh, Head of Automation and Electrical Division.

The seminar was conducted by Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Anh of Mun Hean Vietnam in Vietnamese. The morning started with a presentation of the Mun Hean Group, before covering two key topics in 1) Power Quality Concepts – monitoring, PF and harmonic problems in power grids, and 2) Capacitor and power factor correction technologies, with a special focus on Medium Voltage Static-Var Generators and Active Harmonic Filter solutions for power grid use.

Participants were also asked to stretch their legs at an outdoor ‘live’ demonstration of how SPC balances 3-phases while compensating PF using IGBT technology.

Mun Hean is also pleased to have Rongxin Xingye Power Technology on board to share their expertise and guidance in curating the presentation of High Voltage SVG. We appreciate having Mr Yang Y. F., Chief Engineer, and Mr. Lyu, R&D Engineer from the Technology department, for making the trip to Da Nang and working with the Mun Hean team to prepare for the seminar.
