However, the lead acid battery employed by conventional UPS is not suitable for frequent deep discharge cycle and the battery backup lifespan becomes rapidly derated. Mun Hean Small ESS models are designed with LFP battery that can sustain frequent deep discharge cycle, typically 8,000 cycles to ensure long life operation with minimal battery maintenance/replacement cost.

The small capacity ESS models are available in 1-Phase 3kW and 3-Phase 12kW network connection. Typical battery backup time is rated for 1.5hour to 2hour at full load. These small ESS are designed as a ready-to-use standardized product and can be easily installed and commissioned by a domestic electrical technician. User can configure the Power Conversion System to prioritize the energy discharge for UPS mode, Time of Day Use, Delivery to Specific Loads when connected. The integrated Solar PV direct DC input is offered as a standard feature, removing the need for a conventional PV inverter and provides 200% power conversion capability for simultaneous onload and battery charging duty.
