Mun Hean Malaysia (MHM) participated in IGEM 2013 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre following an excellent reception at IGEM 2012. This is a mark of MHM as a major player in the Green and Renewable Energy industry.

The IGEM series has gained recognition as the region’s largest green technology and eco products exhibition which has spearheaded and created momentum in shaping and promoting Malaysia as green technology hub. In conjunction with the collaboration between IGEM and GES (Global Entrepreneur Summit), IGEM 2013 covered a wider category of visitors consisting of local and foreign GES delegates, consultants, GBI Facilitators, Energy Managers, Engineers from Utilities and Facility Owners, Government etc. There were more than 50,000 visitors visiting IGEM 2013.

Mun Hean Malaysia’s theme at IGEM 2013 is designed around their recognition as an equipment supplier and solutions provider in energy management. Lead by Managing Director, Mr Edmund Leong, the MHM booth showcased their experience in providing energy management solutions from TNB’s incoming up to the tenant’s stage. The MHM exhibit highlighted the core solutions in Smart Energy Management System, Power Quality Solutions and Lightning Protection solutions. A special demonstration board was set up to show case the actual products and solutions in areas of Active Harmonic Filters, Power Factor Correction, Protection Relays and Sub Billing Systems. The demonstration board turned out to be one of the main attractions of the show.

In a series of seminars held at IGEM 2013, Technical Manager of MHM, Mr Roger Wong was one of the expert speakers who presented the topic of “Implementation of a SMART Energy Management System Towards Energy Reduction.” The audience at the expert seminar included facility managers, factory owners and consultants from notable firms.
