We are proud to be associated in the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) – Standards Malaysia Electrotechnical Symposium & Exhibition 2016 on the 5th and 6th December 2016. The symposium took place at One City, Subang Jaya for a period of 2days. The IEM’s theme for the symposium is “Standards Drive Globalization”. The main objective of the symposium was to generate awareness among the electrical engineering fraternity on the exploration and usage of the relevant electrotechnical standards to re-establish and impart the importance of compliance to relevant standards which is part of the regulations in our country.

In conjunction with the hosting of the IEM Symposium, Mun Hean Malaysia being the main sponsor was allocated a booth to exhibit our products and solutions based on our own theme of ‘Smart Electrical-Safety Monitoring Solutions’ in serving the various sectors such as industrial, healthcare and commercial sectors inclusive of :

– Janitza Leakage / Residual Current Protection & Monitoring
– Sinexcel Harmonics Mitigation Solutions

The highlight of the exhibits was the new solutions for Hakel Isolguard insulation monitoring and detection especially for the healthcare industry where we received overwhelming responses from the participants.

The Symposium and Exhibition has attracted more than 500 participants from local and overseas. They are mainly IEM committee members, consultants, contractors, system integrators, end users, government agencies etc. Besides showing our solutions to the IEM participants during the event, MHM has been allocated an advertisement front page on their pamphlets showcasing our products and solutions. These pamphlets were placed into IEM’s goodie bags distributing to all IEM participants!

Besides our products and solutions exhibitions to the participants, we were also invited to give a presentation during the Symposium to the 500 participants. The topics covered were Smart Electrical Safety Monitoring Solutions – Protection Against Leakages by our David Lee. David explained on the value added aspects of Mun Hean’s products and solutions for medical field in particular insulation monitoring device from Hakel Isolguard.

We look forward to have close collaboration with IEM in the near future to educate awareness on electrical safety and protection. We are confident that our products and knowledge will assist the nation to grow and prosperous without neglecting safety and protection in the electrical installations!
