Mun Hean at Semicon Southeast Asia Exhibition – Malaysia, 26-28 April 2016
Mun Hean group made a grand entry to the Semicon Southeast Asia exhibition held in Penang this year . Semicon is a regional event organized by SEMI, a global industry association serving the supply chain for microelectronic, display and photovoltaic industries. The exhibition took place from 26-28 April 2016 at SPICE Arena, Penang
The semiconductor industry is one of the most sensitive industries suffering from power quality related incidents. Poor power quality impacts the facilities and production line equipment, causing significant financial losses from damaged production equipment, downtime, product rejects and substandard products.
Mun Hean spearheaded the show with class leading Janitza power quality monitor to accurately capture power quality incidents and is able to report them to plant owners and engineers to take corrective actions. Janitza meter is also able to capture transient events, particularly those that can cause production losses – harmonics and voltage dips.
With the rising need for clean and stable power supply, Mun Hean promotes the use of Sinexcel power quality solutions with SVG Static Var Generator, AHF Active Harmonic Filter and AVC Active Voltage Conditioner. The SVG helps to compensate the need of reactive power on the fly to minimize voltage fluctuations as well as penalties from utility.
The Active Harmonics Filter helps to eliminate harmful harmonics to minimize nuisance tripping, especially with modern plants that utilize VFD, LED and UPS. The Active Voltage Conditioner is the latest solution from our principal, Sinexcel, which helps to compensate voltage dip, creating a clear path for production equipment to operate optimally.
