Kuala Lumpur – The IIEC Conference is a biannual conference organised by the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) and The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Malaysia. The latest installment of the highly-acclaimed conference was held at Sime Darby Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur with the theme “Safe, Smart and Innovative Development in Power Systems.”

Mun Hean is very proud to be represented at the conference which attracted many practicing professionals from local and overseas comprising engineers, consultants, academicians, facility managers and government agencies.

In line with the IIEC 2015 theme, MH protection relay and Janitza RCM, PQ & Energy Monitoring software were the main showcase. Participants were treated with a demonstration by the Mun Hean PQ specialist team. The demonstration showed how various electrical components, such as Digital Power Meter, Power Analyser and Protection relay were integrated with the Janitza PQ & Energy monitoring software. The integrated system was designed to capture vital information from excessive current consumption, fault current to residual current. Such information, which users can access remotely, is critical to prevent tripping event in an electrical system.
